Below is our Provisional Membership Act 1994 which was instituted on July 15th 1994 in order to differentiate between genuine and fake members. Any person who wishes to join the union is obliged to sign it on the first day of enrolment:

I congratulate you on deciding to join the Ghana Union Ruhrgebiet. I would like to take this opportunity to explain a few things that you have to know before you become a member of our union.

It is the wish of the members of the union to deny persons working on Sundays, whereby their working activities might hinder them from attending regular meetings, the opportunity to become members. I have been directed by the Executive Board furthermore to bring to your attention that before you could be accepted as a full and qualified member who could then be sworn in, you are obliged to pay an amount of €25,00 as Registration Fee. Subsequently, you will be obliged to pay your monthly dues of €10.- and attend our general meetings for at least three consecutive times in order to get to know each other.

Within this period of probation for three months, any behaviour and/or demeanour and interest of yours will be subjected to a thorough and precise scrutiny in order to assist us in our decision to accept you as a member or not. A Vetting Committee
within the Union shall always take the decision.
